Miller time: Kentwood stops Kentlake, awaits district playoffs | NPSL football

Tayvonne Miller ran for 226 yards rushing and four touchdowns as Kentwood jumped out to a 21-0 lead before holding off Kentlake 43-29 in a 4A North Puget Sound League Cascade Division finale Friday night at French Field.
The Conquerors (6-1 league, 7-2 overall) – the division’s top seed for the sixth consecutive season – host Jackson of Mill Creek (4-5) in a district playoff game this Friday.
The Falcons (4-3, 5-4) travel to Wesco champion Lake Stevens (8-1) for their district playoff, also on Friday.
Miler had scoring runs of 5, 25, 47 and 52 yards, and Justin Seiber threw his 34th TD pass for Kentwood.
Gabriel Johnson added a 31-yard scoring run for the Conks.
The Falcons’ Brandon Mortenson ran for two TDs and passed for a third.
