Standout players from Cascade Division champion Kentwood and rivals Kentridge and Kentlake took many of the top postseason football honors, the North Puget Sound League announced this week.

Versatile and swift Solomon Hines was chosen All-NPSL Cascade Special Teams Player of the Year, while Kentwood’s Justin Seiber took Offensive Back of the Year and Wyatt Hansen, just a sophomore, was the division’s Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Seiber, a senior quarterback, threw for more than 3,200 yards and 34 touchdowns this season for the Conquerors, who finished the season 8-3 with a berth in the 4A state playoffs.

For Kentlake, Marques Fuala’au was Defensive Back of the Year.

Hines, Seiber, Hansen and Fuala’au were first-team selections and join other top players who were nominated for the All-State football game.
