The Kent Sunrise Rotary Club honored four students, a teacher and staff member of Cedar Heights Middle School at its Nov. 20 meeting.

Rotary Members, family, guests and honorees gathered to share a meal and recognize students Sophia Soriano and MacKenzie Pevey for academic achievement and students Richelle Gust and Ethan Loghry for their service and citizenship. They also honored teacher Katrina Baker and paraeducator Aly Puryear.

The Kent Sunrise Rotary Club – in keeping with its motto, Service Above Self – dedicates one meeting each month during the school year to honor a middle school in the Kent School District.
