Kent’s South 212th Street bridge to close Aug. 24-25 for resurfacing

The city of Kent will close the bridge on South 212th Street between Frager Road South and 59th Place South from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 25 for resurfacing the bridge deck.

Uniformed police officers will be redirecting traffic on South 212th Street at the intersections of Frager Road South and 59th Place South. The detour route for eastbound traffic will begin at Riverview Boulevard South and the detour for westbound traffic will begin at 59th Place South.
