Kent Farmers Market to open 2023 season June 17 downtown

The Kent Farmers Market will open its 2023 season on Saturday, June 17.

The market will run 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday through Sept. 19 along Second Avenue North between West Smith Street and West Gowe Street.

The Kent Lions Club and Living Well have partnered to bring the market to downtown, according to Mayor Dana Ralph’s weekly update.

“This is a community-driven market, increasing access to fresh, healthy,and culturally relevant produce to our community,” Ralph said.
