Valley Cities to host community chat in Kent about fentanyl

Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care will host a Community Coffee chat in Kent about responding to the fentanyl crisis.

The chat is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 21 at The Multi Service Center Building, 24437 Russell Road. People planning to attend are asked to RSVP online at eventbrite.com.

Valley Cities staff from its inpatient clinic Recovery Place Seattle & Recovery Place Kent will be speaking. Learn more about the fentanyl crisis affecting King County communities and how Valley Cities is responding to this and other behavioral health challenges.

Presenters include: Vicki Brinigar, director of Recovery Place Seattle; Teri Hardy, director of Recovery Place Kent; and Rose Baldridge, director of substance use disorder (SUD) services.

The agenda begins with sign in at 9 a.m.; welcome/introductions at 9:10 a.m.; speakers with questions and answers at 9:15 a.m.; and closing announcements at 10:15 a.m.
