The Seattle Thunderbirds are about to open their 2009-10 season, and coach Rob Sumner gives an update on this year’s squad, and an outlook on the Western Hockey League.
Catch T-Birds’ action Saturday, when the team has its first preseason game on ShoWare Center ice in Kent, playing their longstanding rivals the Everett Silvertips. The game starts 7:05 p.m.
The T-Birds open their season at home the following Saturday – Sept. 18 – at 7:35 p.m. against Everett,
