New Kent salon has enthusiastic grand-opening event

VR Salon and Spa, one of Kent’s newest businesses, had its grand opening Nov. 5, at the shop’s location at 438 Ramsay Way, Kent Station.

The event featured Mayor Suzette Cooke participating in a ribbon-cutting, as well as opportunities to speak with salon representatives.

VR is a full-service salon and spa, offering hair-coloring and styling, massage, aromatherapy, hot-stone massage, mineral scrub, facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures and more.
