Women’s football title games coming to Kent on Aug. 20

Women’s championship football will hit Kent’s ShoWare Center with the Legends Football League Western and Eastern Conference title games on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The Kent-based Seattle Mist have already qualified for the Western Conference Championship with a 3-0 record with one regular season game remaining on June 18 at the Dallas Desire.

Seattle will play for the Western Conference title at 6 p.m. The opponent has yet to be determined. The Eastern Conference Championship game is set for 3 p.m. with teams to be determined.

Seattle won the league title last year when it beat the Chicago Bliss. The league used to be known as the Lingerie Football League and features seven-on-seven tackle football.

Ticket prices are $65 for field level, $45 for lower sideline, $35 for lower end zone, $30 for the party zone, $25 for upper sideline and $15 for upper end zone. A ticket is valid for both games.
