T-Birds’ WHL Game 3 playoff next week at Kent’s ShoWare Center a sellout

The Seattle Thunderbirds already have sold out their Tuesday, May 10 Western Hockey League championship Game 3 playoff game against the Brandon Wheat Kings at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

The T-Birds posted on Twitter on Thursday afternoon that the more than 6,100 tickets had been sold. About 1,500 tickets were left for Game 4 on Wednesday night. For tickets, go to seattlethunderbirds.com.

Seattle sold two tickets for the price of one for the Tuesday game, part of its 2-for-Tuesday promotion it had all season. Tickets for the game went on sale Tuesday morning.

Seattle opens the best-of-seven series on Friday and Saturday at Brandon, which is in Manitoba. If a Game 5 is necessary, it will be played on Friday, May 13 at the ShoWare Center. Game 6 an Game 7 would be back in Brandon.
