Kent’s Lake Meridian swim beach remains closed during dock work

For safety reasons, Lake Meridian Park’s swimming beach remains closed in Kent until the dock replacement construction is completed.

There is no lake access from the city of Kent’s park during this time, including the swimming beach, dock, boat launch and shoreline inside the park boundaries.

The $822,000 project is expected to be completed in mid-June.

Lake access is allowed from private homes and from the state boat launch north of park property. Contact city project manager Hope Gibson with questions at 253-856-5112.
