MOD Pizza, which specializes in individual artisan-style tastes, officially opened at Kent Station on Friday.

For its grand opening day, MOD donated all pizza sales – a total of $3,166.97 – to JUMA, a program that strives to break the cycle of poverty by paving the way to work, education and financial capability for youth in the area.

The first 52 people in line received free individual artisan-style pizza or a hand-tossed salad.

The eatery is open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday
