Eight Thunderbird games to be broadcast on JOEtv | WHL

The Seattle Thunderbirds and Tribune Broadcasting Seattle are teaming up to broadcast eight games between the T-Birds and Portland Winterhawks during the 2018-19 Western Hockey League season.

All eight games will be broadcast on JOEtv, Channel 22/Cable 110, with four games from the accesso ShoWare Center and four games from Portland.

The first game on the broadcast schedule is Saturday, Nov. 17, from Kent.

Veteran WHL play-by-play voice Ian Furness will call the action.

“We continue to build on our successful partnership with JOEtv,” said Colin Campbell, T-Birds vice president. “Both the T-Birds and Winterhawks are strong teams this season. With the growing interest in hockey in Seattle, all of these games are going to be really exciting games for fans to watch and be a part of. We are very pleased with our relationship with JOEtv.”
