Kentridge’s Jordyn Jenkins, a 6-foot-2 junior forward, was selected by coaches as the Most Valuable Player of the North Puget Sound League Cascade Division in girls basketball this season.

Jenkins, paired with University of Washington-signee Jaquaya Miller, powered the Chargers to the division title with a 14-0 record and a league tournament championship. Kentridge, 19-2 overall, opens the district playoffs this week.

Kentridge junior guard Dayla Ballena also made the all-division first team.
