Ladies Night Out concert in Kent Sept. 8

Seven groups are lined up in Kent for the Ladies Night Out, Volume 5 R&B concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at the ShoWare Center.

The performers include Blackstreet, 112, After 7, NEXT, Color Me Badd, Rocky Sandoval, and Po Boxx.

Hit songs by the groups include “No Diggity” by Blackstreet; “Peaches and Cream” by 112; “Can’t Stop” by After 7; “Too Close by NEXT; “I Wanna Sex You Up” by Color Me Badd; “Climax” by Rocky Sandoval; and “Big Body Luva” by Po Boxx.

Comedian Ralph Porter will host the show. DJ Funk Daddy will spin music. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
