Kent Mayor Dana Ralph will join other volunteers to help distribute free masks, food boxes and hand sanitizer keychains from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 at the ShoWare Center.

Free face masks, food boxes and hand sanitizer keychains will be given away from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 during a drive-thru event at the accesso ShoWare Center parking lot, 625 W. James St.

The city of Kent is partnering with Pacific Coast Fruit to distribute the items.

Kent Mayor Dana Ralph, several City Council members, city staff and volunteers will be there to mark down and fulfill requests for personal protective equipment and food boxes while drivers are in line.

People are asked to stay in their vehicle, wear a mask and listen to the volunteers directing traffic. No reservations are required.
