Kent area swimmers competed Feb. 15-17 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center for the WIAA State Boys Swim and Dive Championships.

Kentwood and Kentridge were the lone representatives at the year-end event and both recorded points when all was said and done.

Schuyler Wright, a sophomore, recorded Kentwood’s lone points in the 100-fly, finishing in 13th place.

For Kentridge, Timothy Johnson placed 15th in the dive competition, getting Kentridge on the board with two points.
