Sound Transit CEO to speak at Kent Chamber luncheon Feb. 1

Joni Earl, Sound Transit chief executive officer, will speak at the Kent Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the ShoWare Center.
Tickets are $30 for non-members and $20 for Chamber members. The luncheon runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sound Transit operates the Puget Sound region’s mass transit system, including ST Express buses, Sounder commuter trains, Tacoma Link light rail, and Central Link light rail trains from downtown Seattle to Sea-Tac Airport.
Earl is a graduate of Harvard University’s state and local government executive program. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Puget Sound, and a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.
She serves on the Board of the Puget Sound Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and chairs the public sector campaign for United Way of King County.
