MMA bouts set for Friday

The lineup is set for the Strikeforce Challengers professional mixed martial arts show Friday night at the ShoWare Center.

Joey Villasenor (26-6 record) vs. Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos (16-12) in a co-main event. Tim Kennedy (9-2) fights Nick Thompson (38-10-1) in the other co-main event.

Preliminaries start at 6 p.m. The main card begins at 8 p.m. Ticket prices range from $32 to $127 and are available at www.showarecenter.com or call 253-856-6999.

Other pro bouts include Cory Devela (9-2-0) vs. Luke Rockhold (4-1-0); Sarah Kaufman (9-0-0) vs. Shayna Baszler (9-5-0); Jorge Gurgel (12-5-0) vs. Conor Heun (8-2-0); Nick Thompson (38-10-1) vs. Tim Kennedy (9-2-0); and Lyle Beebohm (9-0-0) vs. Duane Ludwig (18-8-0).
