Nationally acclaimed ballroom dancers Erik and Rickie will be performing during the Kent Senior Activity Center’s Spring Luncheon March 19.

The two were highly successful in the 2009 America’s Got Talent competition, finishing in the top 20 over the thousands of contestants during the highly rated show.

Boxed lunches, courtesy of Stafford Suites, will be distributed at noon to those purchasing the $7 advance tickets for the March 19 event. Tickets will be available beginning in late February. If sold out, a wait list will be taken the day of the event beginning at 9 a.m.

In April, Erik and Rickie, both age 9, will return to compete in the World Championship Ballroom Dance championships in Blackpool, England. They are two-time defending U.S. National Dance Champions (junior division ages 7-12) and took third in the world last year in Blackpool. Spring Luncheon participants will have the opportunity to help offset their extensive travel expenses.

The Kent Senior Activity Center is located at 600 E. Smith Street in downtown Kent. For more information, call 253-856-5164.
