Children can participate in The Boxtrolls Cardboard Challenge from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Kent Station shopping center.

The event will include a Cardboard Creation Station where kids will have the chance to make their own Boxtrolls creation. Creations will be judged and the best one will win a What’s in the Box grand prize including an Xbox One and Jawbone Jambox.

The afternoon also includes free face painting, cotton candy, Boxtrolls prizes and an inflatable jump house.

Focus Features, 106.1 KISS FM and the Imagination Foundation have teamed up for The Boxtrolls Cardboard Challenge. Some craft supplies will be provided but contestants can bring any that will make their creation extra special.
