Check out several Seattle-area hip-hop artists and donate to the Northwest Harvest food bank at a free concert at 9 p.m. Nov. 20 at Poppa’s Pub, 510 Washington Ave. N., in Kent.

The performers include Brett Scribner (“B $crill”), Joe Mcquade (“Eskimo Joe”), Duncan Polk (“Gregory Ace”), Dan Moody (“D-Faded”) and Mike Smith, who also is promoting the concert through Blueroom Music. The hop-hop artists are more about poetry and lyrics rather than gangster rap, Smith said.

Concert goers are asked to bring cans of food as well as cash and check donations for Northwest Harvest. Half of the donated cash and checks will go to Northwest Harvest.
