Legendary Steve Miller Band to rock state fair on Sept. 4

Tickets go on sale Feb. 19

The Washington State Fair kicka off the 2020 Columbia Bank Concert Series for An Evening with Steve Miller Band. The classic rock artists will take the stage Friday, Sept. 4.

Steve Miller’s 2019 was one for the record books – he released a second volume boxset of his collected vinyl, opened his vaults for the first time ever, releasing the acclaimed Welcome to the Vault Boxset, performed live in more than 50 cities, played “Fly Like an Eagle” with The Roots on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” did two nights at Jazz at Lincoln Center performing “Cannonball Adderley and the Blues,” and more.

In 2020, the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer, who is also now confirmed to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June, is showing no signs of slowing down and is ready to hit the road again this summer.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at thefair.com/subscribe and join the free E-Club for access to the best seats and ticket offers. E-Club members get the opportunity to buy tickets to all shows in the Columbia Bank Concert Series lineup, before the general public.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb 22. Prices are $80 $70, $60 and include fair gate admission. Tickets will be available at thefair.com/activities/steve-miller-band or by phone (888) 559-FAIR (3247) daily, 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Washington State Fair’s Box Office, 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street on most Tuesdays, 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. after March 3. Online and phone purchases are subject to standard processing fees. Tickets purchased on-site will be charged a $5 per ticket service fee.

Pre-show party

Concert ticket holders who want to start the party early, can purchase tickets to the pre-show party. Join fellow fans in the VIP tent just inside the Gold Gate for fun, food and prizes before Steve Miller Band takes the stage. Tickets are $47 each and do not include concert tickets. The price includes a catered dinner by The Vault Catering, one complimentary beverage and a dessert bar.

Enjoy a fun atmosphere a party DJ, music, games, prizes and a no-host bar. A commemorative VIP lanyard and buttons are included in the cost. Dinner and drinks will be served at 5 p.m. All pre-show party ticketholders will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a front row seat upgrade for two. Guests must be present when announced at 6:15 p.m. to win. Artist will not make an appearance at the party. Pre-show party does not include admission to the concert or Fair. Separate ticket required for Fair and Grandstand entrance.
