Three drive-in films set for Kent’s ShoWare Center Aug. 12-16

‘The Lion King,’ ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Gremlins’

The next round of drive-in movies Aug. 12-16 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent includes “The Lion King,” “Ghostbusters” and “Gremlins.”

Films are shown each week on a big screen in the rear parking lot with space for 95 vehicles. The city-owned arena is closed for indoor events because of COVID-19.

Tickets are available for purchase online only at accessoshowarecenter. com.

Tickets are $40 per vehicle for premium general admission and $30 for general admission. Motorcycles are $20. No RVs will be allowed. All parking is first-come, first-served in the two sections. There are two showtimes each night, and tickets will be per vehicle/per film. The number of seat belts per vehicle denotes how many passengers will be allowed to each showing.

Thursday, Aug. 13 at 9:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m.*

“Gremlins”

Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 9:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 14 at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 15 at 9:30 p.m.

* Double Feature Ticket is available for Sunday, Aug. 16 showtimes of “The Lion King” and “Ghostbusters.” Limited quantities available.
