A candlelight vigil Dec. 3 outside of the Kent Police station attracted more than 100 people – the public as well as police officers.
Organized by the North Park Neighborhood Council, the event was orchestrated to give the public and emergency personnel a chance to acknowledge the sacrifice of the four Lakewood officers, as well as to show support for Kent’s own officers.
