Kent house fire on East Hill displaces one person; nobody injured

Fire broke out Tuesday morning, Sept. 26 in 11300 block of SE 215th Street

Firefighters extinguished a Kent house fire in about 30 minutes on Tuesday, Sept. 26 in the 11300 block of SE 215th Street on the East Hill.

The fire broke out at about 10:38 a.m., according to an email from Puget Sound fire spokesperson Pat Pawlak. Nobody was injured. One person was displaced.

Seven fire department units responded along with King County Medic One and Zone 3 Fire Cadets, Pawlak said. Seventeen fire department personnel responded to the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
