Kent joins National Night Out effort

Kent participated in more than 100 events with National Night Out on Tuesday, a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.

The event is held throughout the U.S. each summer to help connect law enforcement with residents and develop neighborhood bonds. The events are typically organized by block watches, non-for-profit organizations, companies and police departments.
