Kent Police warn about scam fundraising calls

A phone caller is falsely claiming to be a Kent Police officer while asking for donations for kids, according to a Kent Police scam alert.

The caller explains they will send an envelope with a sticker on it and the person can put the donation in the envelope and mail it back.

Kent Police say they are not soliciting donations by phone for any fundraising effort.
