Memorial service for Trooper Chris Gadd set for March 12 in Everett

A memorial service for fallen Washington State Patrol trooper Christopher Gadd is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett.

The service will be open to the public with a ceremonial procession preceding the memorial, according to the State Patrol, which announced the service.

Gadd, 27, was killed in the line of duty after being struck March 2 by a motorist on Interstate 5 near Marysville.

Gadd graduated from Kentlake High School.
