A fire forced a family of seven Friday out of their SeaTac house in the 19000 block of 32nd Avenue South.
Firefighters from the Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority, Burien Fire Department, Tukwila Fire Department and South King Fire and Rescue responded to the call shortly after noon, according to a Kent Fire Department media release.
Firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the front door of the two-story house.
After learning that everyone had self-evacuated, firefighters attacked the fire in a front room. Although the fire was controlled in a few minutes, there was extensive smoke and heat damage throughout the house.
No one was injured in the fire. Red Cross was brought in to assist the family.
Fire investigators have yet to determine a cause.
