Book-It Repertory Theatre will present A Living History Performance July 16-17 at Saar Pioneer Cemetery, 91st Avenue and South 212th Way.

The shows are at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. each day. Tickets are $10 per person. Reservations are required. For tickets, call 253-850-2777 or email forscher@comcast.net.

The performance, adapted by Rachel Atkins and directed by Makaela Pollack, tells a living history of six characters whose stories are taken from those buried in the cemetery. Each character will tell their personal tale of life in Kent, from Margaret Saar to Civil War veteran Elias Clark.

The South King County Genealogical Society and Kents Arts Commission are partners with Book-It Repertory Theatre in the production.
