Unknown vandals hit Renton apartment complex

15 vehicles damaged in Feb. 28 incident at Bella Vista apartments

Renton police say 15 vehicles were damaged Feb. 28 at an apartment complex parking lot in Renton.

Officers responded to the Bella Vista apartment complex, 2100 Lake Washington Blvd., after several victims reported their vehicles were damaged at 6:30 a.m., according to the department. Officers located additional vehicles damaged in the incident through a search of the complex.

According to the department, police believe the property destruction occurred at around 3 a.m. to 3:15 a.m. the morning of Feb. 28.

Officers are currently searching for suspects involved in the incident.

According to Sandra Havlik, a spokesperson for the department, Renton police have not identified any suspects in the incident, as of Feb. 28.

Renton police have requested public assistance in their investigation of the incident. The apartment complex involved in the incident did not immediately respond for comment.
