A 2-year-old-boy sustained non-life threatening injuries after he fell out of a second-story window at about 9:39 p.m. Monday at a home in the 20100 block of 105th Avenue Southeast in the Panther Lake area of unincorporated Kent.

The boy was conscious and crying when Kent firefighters and King County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the home, said John Urquhart, spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

The boy reportedly pushed on a window screen and fell out, said Kyle Ohashi, spokesman for the Kent Fire Department. Paramedics transported the boy to a local hospital.
