Kent Police to host community meeting Aug. 30 to discuss crime trends

Residents are invited to a community meeting hosted by the Kent Police Department from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 at the Kent Parks Community Center at the Kent Phoenix Academy, 11000 S.E. 264th St.

Kent Police Chief Ken Thomas and staff will provide information on crime trends and what is being done to reduce crime in the city. Questions also will be taken from the audience.
