Nathan Jensen performs “Phantom of the Opera” on Sunday, Oct. 26, accompanying the classic Lon Chaney film playing the modified Hutchings-Plaisted Op. 78 pipe organ at Kent Lutheran Church.

The performance begins at 7 p.m. at the church, 336 Second Ave. S.

Jensen, who studied music at Pacific Lutheran University and Evergreen College, has worked as a much-in-demand organist and choir director, ballet pianist and member of St. Mark’s Compline Choir and the Seattle Opera Chorus.

The pipe organ at Kent Lutheran Church came from a church scheduled for demolition in Massachusetts. It was originally installed in 1878. Eventually a grand organ with all 3,200 pipes will be installed at the church.

Tickets are $12.50 at the door, $5 for students with ID.

Tickets also can be orders through www.BrownPaperTickets.com.
