Airways Brewing opens new tap room in Kent

Airways Brewing opened its new brewery and tap room on Tuesday in Kent at 8611 S. 212th St.

Hours are 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday, 2-10 p.m. on Friday and 2-8 p.m. on Saturday. The tap room is closed Sunday and Monday.

Construction on the 9,000-square-foot facility, 8611 S. 212th St., started in March and is expected to be ready to produce beer in July.

The new spot replaces the original brewery and tap room and will allow for up to a fourfold increase in production as well as an increase in seating capacity.

Airways Brewing also operates a Beer & Bistro in downtown Kent, 320 W. Harrison St.
