A Kent holiday tradition, Winterfest warmed the hearts of those who braved the rain and damp chill at the Town Square Plaza last Saturday.

The celebration, the Kent Lions’ gift to the community, included children’s activities, music, holiday readings, caroling, hot drinks and snacks, raffle prizes, a Christmas tree lighting, and, of course, a visit from Santa.

Donations were taken for the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority’s Toys for Joy program and used eye glasses for Lions International.
