Hamilton, the Musical Discussion Group meets again at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.
The gathering will feature an interview (via speakerphone) with guest Mary Anne Hamilton, 84, who was married to Laurens Morgan Hamilton, great-grandson of General Alexander Hamilton, on whose life the musical is based.
The pre-show will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a discussion at 10.
The group meets every third Tuesday to discuss the lyrics and music of the 46 songs featured in the Broadway production, which recently played at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre.
Prior to the discussion, which is open to all ages, the group explores a myriad of clips and information from YouTube, other “Hamilton” websites and the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society.
