Tacoma Stars to open MASL season Dec. 11 at Kent’s ShoWare Center

The Tacoma Stars will open the 2021-2022 Major Arena Soccer League season against the San Diego Sockers at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent.

San Diego is one of the favorites to win the Western Division, according to Michael Lewis at MASLsoccer.com. Tacoma was 4-7 last year and finished in sixth place when it played every game on the road as the ShoWare Center was unavailable due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Lewis reports that the Stars are rebuilding under coach Mike Jennings. Top returning players include forward Nick Perera, midfielder Mike Ramos, forward Vini Dantas and goalkeeper Danny Waltman.
