The Rainier Youth Choirs perform at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Covington Library, 27100 164th Ave. SE.

The program features Bella Voce (singers in grades 4-6) directed by Brad Wills, and Colla Voce (singers in grades 6-8) directed by Leora Schwitters. The concert previews holiday songs in preparation for RYC’s main event, The World for Christmas, which will include all six ensembles at 3 p.m. Dec. 12 at Kent United Methodist Church.

Rainier Youth Choirs is a nonprofit, community-based organization with no religious affiliation for boys and girls that offers a family-friendly choral music education for singers in grades 2 and up, serving families in Kent, Renton, Auburn, Issaquah, Federal Way, Maple Valley, and surrounding areas. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings at Cedar Heights Middle School, 19640 SE 272nd St., Covington.
