Kentwood catcher Reese McGuire has been added to the roster for the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game, powered by Baseball Factory.

The Aug. 18 game at Wrigley Field in Chicago airs live nationally on MLB Network.
The Under Armour All-America Baseball Game showcases 36 of the best high school players, competing in an American vs. National team matchup. The players are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts.
McGuire and the Conquerors captured the state 4A title last weekend.
He is verbally committed to the University of San Diego.
“Reese is an outstanding young catcher with the leadership qualities necessary to succeed at the next level,” said Steve Bernhardt, chairman of the Under Armour All-America Game Selection Committee and executive VP of baseball operations at Baseball Factory, “He receives very well and has a quick exchange and a strong arm behind the plate.”
The Under Armour All-America Baseball Game is the culmination of a four-day baseball celebration, including a formal workout for Major League Baseball scouts and a home run derby.
Over the past three years, 91 of the 108 players from the Under Armour All-America Game were selected in the MLB Amateur Draft, including 20 first round picks.
