Ceremonies held for four Kent School District high schools and two academies

It was a busy weekend for the Class of 2025 graduates of the four Kent School District high schools and two academies.

Kentlake, Kentridge, Kentwood and Kent-Meridian high school graduations were one right after the other on Saturday, June 14 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent. Kent Laboratory Academy and iGrad & Kent Virtual Academy had ceremonies on Friday, June 13 at Kent-Meridian High School.

“Each ceremony was filled with joyful memories, heartfelt speeches, and well-deserved recognition of our students’ hard work, resilience, and growth,” according to a Kent School District social media post. “We are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and excited to see where their journeys take them next.”

Each graduation featured student speakers, including:

Kentlake High School

• Greta Mae Schuldt and Asha Bakari

Kentridge High School

• Atticus Phan and Kaden Ticeson

Kentwood High School

• Natalie Anderson and Emily Huck

Kent-Meridian High School

• Randa Issa and Taryn Graham

iGrad & Kent Virtual Academy

• Kisaea Kalulu-Finau (Virtual), Leydy Jolon (igrad) and Xavier Mason (igrad)

Kent Laboratory Academy

• Jasmine Robles and Ezra Thomas
