KENTRIDGE CHARGERS: AT A GLANCE

• COACH: Casey Stoflet, sixth year.

• LAST YEAR: Kentridge finished fifth in the SPSL North.

• TOP RETURNERS: Kim Concillado, sr., all-around; Amelia Carpenter, sr., all-around; McKenzie Johnson, sr., all-around.

• TOP NEWCOMERS: Ellie Hoekman, fr., vault, beam, floor; Amy Hiracki, fr., all-around.

• GRADUATED: Beth Vanden Heuvel.

• TEAM STRENGTH: Unity, senior leadership.

• TEAM WEAKNESS: Focus.

• OUTLOOK: Replacing Vanden Heuvel won’t be easy, but the Chargers do possess a solid core of returners and received a nice infusion of young talent. As such, this is a group that should make its impact felt by season’s end.
