Semi crash causes delays on southbound I-5 in Tukwila

A semi collision on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 21 has blocked two left lanes of southbound Interstate 5 at the I-405 exit to Renton in Tukwila.

The semi driver suffered a minor injury, according to the Washington State Patrol. Multiple lanes have gravel and debris from when the semi rolled over.

The collision occurred at about 3:24 p.m. Major traffic delays are expected.

Crews are working hard to shovel debris out of the freeway so the State Patrol can open up lanes.
